Privacy
What we do, and don’t do, with your information.
In plain language: we don’t track you, we don’t sell anything, and we don’t store information we don’t need.
What we collect.
The bare minimum to run the Foundation:
- If you fill in a form (Academy enrollment, contribute, donate): we keep the fields you submitted, on the Foundation’s own servers, encrypted at rest.
- If you ask the Weaver a question: your message is processed by the Foundation’s own loom (the “Quiet Loom,” running on Webspinner Cloud). It does not leave the Foundation’s care. Operational logs are kept for at most 30 days for debugging and then purged.
- Server access logs: standard web-server logs (IP, timestamp, path, status code) are retained for 14 days for security and debugging. They are not joined to anything else.
What we do not collect.
- No analytics that profile visitors. No Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Hotjar, nothing of the kind.
- No advertising trackers, social-media pixels, or behavioral retargeting code.
- No fingerprinting (no canvas, audio, or font enumeration).
- No third-party fonts that phone home; we self-host or use system stacks.
- No cookies that identify you across sessions. (We use a single localStorage entry to remember your theme preference; it stays on your device.)
What you can ask us to do.
You can ask us to delete what we have on you, to show you what we have on you, or to correct it. Reach the founder via the contact form below with the word “privacy” in the subject; we’ll reply within seven days.
